Workforce Development

GAPHC’s Recruitment and Retention component is a collaborative effort among CHCs, medical schools, residency programs and state agencies to carry out strategies that will continue to focus on:

  • Recruiting licensed primary care providers
  • Tracking medical students throughout their professional training
  • Maintaining linkages with in and out-of-state allopathic/osteopathic schools in order to increase the CHCs’ workforce within the state
